Does confuser affect the performances?

Hi,

I was wondering if confuser affect the performances of the target application.

I'm thinking in particular to the control flow confuser, however the question is relative to all the parts.

There are guidance to confuse performance critical pieces of code?

All kinds of obfuscators must affect performances in some way, some are slightly slower, some are greatly slower.
Control flow obfuscation should have a minimal impact on performance and it is advised to apply on most of the code.
If your code is CPU-heavy, you should avoid using too many protections. If your code is other kind, such as IO, user interface, you could apply most of the protections.
